About Life Restoration Center
"In 1993, my husband and I opened a teen center on Main Street in Troy, MO. When we opened it, we thought that we were providing a place for our church youth group to hang out. We didn’t expect to receive an invasion of teens who were drug-addicted, teens who were struggling, those who had been assaulted, those in poverty, and those who did not have a safe place to go. What happened in that place not only changed the lives of those who came in, but also planted a seed inside of me to learn how to help them more. This teen center was the root system of what we have now in Life Restoration Center.
In 2012, we took a 25-year-old tractor mechanic shop that belonged to my father and created a safe place for families, individuals, teens, and children who have suffered from trauma, abuse, violence, rejection, depression, addiction, anxiety and other life controlling problems." --Samantha Graham-Douglas, LPC, Executive Director
Life Restoration Center is a non-profit counseling center in Troy, Missouri. We offer individual counseling, family counseling, and marriage counseling. We also facilitate separate group counseling sessions for teens’ trauma and relationships and children’s trauma. In addition, we have a weekly men's sexual addiction support group Tuesday evenings from 7pm to 9pm.
Our Mission: to provide respect, safety and comfort to those coming from hopeless situations and to help in the work of restoring individuals and families with life-controlling problems
